The Hoop Play program is a low-impact, functional fitness program. During school-based programming, standard hula-hoop fitness techniques and modern hoop dance and tricks are used to target core muscles, challenge overall coordination, balance, posture and stability. A variety of other creative and active play hula-hoop based activities are used to challenge mind-body awareness and fine motor skills. As a result, students from pre-k to grade 12 are engaged in a unique, playful, and non-competitive form of physical activity! Programming typically lasts from 20-90 minutes but can be adapted depending on school needs. Hoop Play is now a standard fitness training program recognized by Canadian Fitness Education Services (CFES).
Our handmade kids hoops are guaranteed unbreakable andun-kink-able! During school programming, all equipment is provided. We make sure to bring a wide variety of hoops to suit every child - regardless of size, age or ability. If you are interested in purchasing some of our hoops, we offer bulk rates on hoop packs for schools and not-for-profits, and will provide an additional discount when bundled with programming!
