You've found it with Hoop Play! We are a family-run and Saskatchewan based business and we would love to visit you!
The Hoop Play program is a low-impact, functional fitness program that focuses on building body confidence. Standard hula-hoop fitness techniques and modern hoopdance is used to target core muscles, challenge overall coordination, balance, posture and stability.
Hoop Play is closely related to rhythmic gymnastics and modern dance; but, due the diversity of our activities and our specially-designed hoops, is highly-accessible to the untrained artist and non-physically fit! Hoop Play is now a standard fitness training program recognized by Canadian Fitness Education Services (CFES).
Programming in Regina is facilitated by Cody Selanders (Hoop Play Certified Instructor and co-owner). Standard hula-hooping as well as a wide variety of circus arts (juggling, contact juggling)and hoopdance activities are included. These creative and active play activities challenge mind-body awareness and fine motor skills, and are all non-competitive.
Our handmade hoops are guaranteed un-kink-able! We offer bulk rates on hoop packs for schools and not-for-profits, and will provide an additional discount when bundled with programming!
